How to Replace the Filter on the GE Under-sink Filtration
Water filtration systems by GE come in a wide range of models, including under-sink reverse osmosis systems. The under-sink units use replaceable filters that keep debris and large particles out of the water. Turn off the water supply line leading to the filtration system.

Turn on the GE filtration system water faucet to drain the tank. Turn off the faucet when the tank is empty.

Twist the filter compartment to the left to disconnect it.

Empty the water from the compartment. Pull the old filter out of the filter compartment.

Insert the new filter into the cartridge.

Position the filter compartment onto the filtration system. Twist the compartment to the right. The cartridge moves up as it is tightened.

Turn the water supply leading to the system on. The tank takes up to four hours to refill.
