How to Make a Glitter Handprint
Handprints are a simple way to memorialize your child's hand while it's small. Glitter handprints can be used in a variety of kid-friendly crafts. You can place a handprint on paper to frame or use white paint and glitter to create a "handprint ghost" for Halloween. While decorating for Christmas, trace your child's hand on a clear ornament and coat with glitter glue, or add a glitter handprint to home items such as candles and give them as gifts.

Make your own glitter if you don't have any pre-made on hand. Pre-heat an oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Pour three tablespoons of salt into a bowl. Add two or three drops of food coloring into the bowl. Close the lid and shake to combine.

Sprinkle an ample amount of glitter onto the wet glue, making sure every part of the hand is covered. Let the glue dry. Carefully lift the paper up to clear away unused glitter. Hang or frame the paper and enjoy.
