How to Make a Silk Stargazer Lily Wrist Corsage
Creating your own silk stargazer lily wrist corsage can save you time, money, and a trip to the florist. With a few relatively simple things that you can find at any craft store, you will have a beautiful wrist corsage that you can make in a matter of minutes.
Instructions
-
-
1
Cut approximately 30 inches of the ribbon that you will use to tie the corsage to your wrist.
-
2
Tie a knot in the center of the ribbon you cut.
-
-
3
Using more of the same ribbon, create loops of ribbon. Hold the ribbon in place with your fingers and make two loops on each side. Cut the ribbon.
-
4
Holding those loops in place with your fingers, get some of the other ribbon and add three loops of that ribbon on each side to the ones of the other color that you are holding. Cut that ribbon. There will be two ribbon tails from each ribbon type. You can add more tails to the corsage by simply cutting small lengths of ribbon from either one of the ribbon types.
-
5
Take the piece of ribbon that you put a knot in and put the knot on the bottom of the loops. Tie the loops together with that ribbon. Tie it tightly so the loops do not fall out.
-
6
Arrange the loops on the corsage so they are evenly distributed.
-
7
Cut the tails of the ribbon loops in a V shape.
-
8
Remove the stem of the silk stargazer lily.
-
9
Put floral adhesive onto any decorative accents like leaves, berries, or other floral accessories you may be adding to your wrist corsage. Let the glue dry on them for about 30 seconds.
-
10
Put the floral adhesive onto the base of the flower. Let it dry for about 30 seconds as well.
-
11
Add the decorative accents to the center of the ribbons on the wrist corsage first. Then put the silk stargazer lily in the center of the arrangement.
-
12
Hold the flower and decorative accents in place until the glue is set. Let the glue on the wrist corsage dry completely.
-
13
Tie the ribbon to your wrist. Cut off any excess ribbon.

Tips & Warnings
Match the ribbon colors to the flower. Accent colors work best and a lighter and darker shade of the same color. The ribbon will need to be wide in order to make good loops but not so wide as to overwhelm your wrist.
