How to Make Wedding Day Sandals
Embellished sandals for weddings are very popular, especially for summer or beach weddings. Even if your wedding doesn't take place in summer, you may still want to wear sandals, so your feet will be comfortable all day. However, specialized wedding sandals can have a price tag that is up to twice as much as plain sandals. It's inexpensive to embellish sandals yourself to make a custom pair of wedding day sandals that will be perfect for your big day. Choose white sandals. You can use any type of sandal, from flip-flops to fancier leather sandals. Make sure that you walk around in the sandals to make sure they fit comfortably.

Lay out your embellishments on the sandals without gluing them down to find a style you like. Place a silk flower on a flip-flop near the toes where the straps meet, or use sequins in a row down the straps. Be creative and make the sandal layout your own.

Use the glue gun to glue all of embellishments in place. To do this, remove one embellishment, apply a dot of glue where the embellishment was, and place the embellishment on the dot of glue. Glue each one on individually like this to make sure that you remember where you want each one.

Apply glitter if you wish. Use a glue stick to apply glue to any area you want glitter, and then sprinkle the glitter over the glue.
