How to Take Care of Your Timberlands

- Shoe-cleaning solution
- Leather conditioner
- Shoe polish
- Brush
- Waterproof spray

Clean your shoes regularly to remove dirt and prevent set-in stains. Brush off any dirt with a clean cloth. Use a specialized cleaning product designed for leather, Nubuck, suede or canvas, depending upon the material of your shoes or boots. Allow the shoes or boots to dry completely.

Condition and polish leather Timberlands to soften the leather and restore its luster. Paste and cream polishes last longer than liquid versions but take longer to apply and are more labor-intensive.

Brush suede and Nubuck shoes regularly with a soft brush to raise the nap. Regularly brushing your shoes will also prevent set-in stains.

Weatherproof your shoes with a water and stain repellent. Do this prior to wearing new Timberlands. Reapply the repellent at least once or twice annually. Use a weatherproofing product specialized for your shoe material.
