    Screw removal

  1. The first step to removing an Audi A4 door panel is finding all the screws. There are three screws around the perimeter of the door panel. Remove those screws then move to the handle. There is one screw on the inside that will need to be removed. Once you remove that screw pull the handle off and you will likely find two more screws, depending on the model. It is best to use a magnetic screwdriver to remove the screws on the door panel.
  2. Connection Removal

  3. Once you have removed all screws, pull the door panel toward you. It will pop off roughly an inch. Look inside the door panel using a flashlight. There may be electrical connections that can be unplugged with your hand.
  4. Door Panel Removal

  5. Once you have ensured all screws and connections slide the door panel off and away. The door panel should give way very easily, however some clips may remain intact making the panel give a bit of resistance go back and make sure everything is disconnected.

If everything is disconnected wiggle the door panel a bit to release any remaining clips.
  6. After The Door Panel is Off

  7. Once the door panel on your Audi A4 has been removed you will have access to the inner workings of the car. Speakers, motors and other electrical components are available within the door panel.

If you are planning to put the door panel back on set all the screws aside carefully to ensure you have everything you need when the time comes to put the panel back on.
