Quadra-Fire Pellet Stove Information


Quadra-Fire pellet stoves use wood pellets, wheat or sunflower seeds as fuel. At the time of publication, Quadra-Fire manufactured four pellet stoves: the Castile, the Classic Bay 1200, the MT Vernon AE and the Santa Fe.


  • The Castile measures 24 inches in width, and the Classic Bay 1200 measures 29 inches in width. The MT Vernon AE pellet stove measures 28 inches wide, and the Santa Fe pellet stove measures 26 inches wide.


  • The Castile and Santa Fe pellet stoves produce an average of 34,400 BTUs per hour, which heats up to 1,500 square feet of space. The Classic Bay 1200 pellet stove produces an average of 47,300 BTUs per hour and which provides enough heat for up to 2,350 square feet. The MT Vernon AE pellet stove generates approximately 60,200 BTUs every hour which heats up to 3,075 square feet.


  • At the time of publication, the Quadra-Fire Castile pellet stove costs $2,799, and the Quadra-Fire Classic Bay 1200 pellet stove costs $2,399. You can purchase the MT Vernon AE for $3,899, according to the Quadra-Fire website. The Quadra-Fire Santa Fe costs $2,099, as of May 2011.
