Drought Resistant Grass for Lawns

Bahiagrass seed is classified as a utility grass because it does not have the fine texture of other grasses. It is a low maintenance grass that has a high survivability rate in drought conditions. Bahiagrass is also commonly used in grazing areas because of its quick growth rate.

Zoysiagrass

Zoysia is a versatile grass that will grow well in conditions where the weather can get extremely cold in the winter while experiencing heat and drought in the summer. It is a low-growing grass, which makes it desirable if you do not have a lot of time to devote to maintaining your lawn.
