Simple Green is an all-purpose cleaner initially developed for industrial use. However, for more than 30 years since the product was patented, it has been used in the home as well. This versatile cleaner can be used for many cleaning purposes, but because it is concentrated it should always be diluted with water first.
Ovens, microwaves, refrigerators and other appliances can all be cleaned with Simple Green. The cleaner can also be sprayed onto dishes in a dishwasher before it runs as a replacement for dish soap.
Simple Green should be used in a 30:1 to 50:1 ratio mixture of water to Simple Green on finished wood only, never unfinished. Wood decks can be sprayed with 30:1 mixture after being sprayed wet first.
Use one-quarter cup of pure Simple Green to help wash a full load of laundry. When doing this, use less than half of the detergent usually called for.
Add slightly diluted Simple Green to already wet pet fur and massage it in to help clean pets. Do not use on cats or rodents, however.
Diluted Simple Green can be used to wash cars, vans and trucks. Do not apply to the interior instrument panel. Wet tires before applying.
