Hi welcome, my name is Lisa. I am the founder of Exquisite Events, and I am going to show you how to make a paper Christmas tree centerpiece. The materials you are going to need are two eight and a half by eleven pieces of card stock. You will need a standard 12 inch ruler, pencil. This glue pen is great because it's easy to use. You can make a fine line. And then any embellishments you would like to use. I like to use these spangles. They are nice and shiny. They come in all different colors so they are a lot of fun to work with. The first step is you are going to take your eight and a half by eleven paper. I'm going to start with the small one. And halfway, half of eight and a half is four and a quarter. So, you will measure directly across and make a mark at four and a quarter at the top of your paper. We are going to make a perfect triangle. And you will do this on both pieces of paper. Next step is we are going to cut the triangles out of the paper. And you are going to fold them in half and make a tight crease. So, you can also use your ruler, but you really want a fine crease down the middle. Now, this is when the glue pen really comes in handy. Okay so we are going to draw a line of glue straight down the middle. You only need to do it on one of the triangles. Just a nice thin straight bead. And then these you are going to stick together. And you are going to let that dry for just a few minutes. It really doesn't take long at all. You can see your shape of the tree start to take form. Now what we are going to do is we are going to while this is drying, we are going to get out the different embellishments we want to use. And you are just going to place them on where ever you like. Whatever works best for you. So here is our finished product, and as you can see the glue dries clear, so it's just lots of fun and sparkle. You can use different colors. Again, have fun with it, use your creativity. My name is Lisa from Exquisite Events, happy holidays.
