My name is Jenna Lee with Splurge Events, and today I'm going to show you how to make a wedding centerpiece using pink and silver. For this project you will need a mix of pink flowers and a mix of silver vases, three hardback books, silver wrapping paper, scissors, tape, pink ribbon and silver spray paint. So what you want to do for your first step is to take your wrapping paper and your book and place it on top and cut your wrapping paper two inches larger on all sides. Once you have it cut, you'll want to cut a notch out of the top and the bottom right where the binding is. When you get ready to wrap your book, you'll want to have something to lean it up against so that it can remain open while you wrap and you basically just wrap it like a present. For the next step you'll want to take your books that have already been wrapped and take your pink ribbon and cut it to size in order for it to wrap all the way around the book or in this case two books stacked together and on the backside you can either tie your ribbon in a knot to keep it secure or you can secure it with a pearl pin. For the next step, you're going to want to take your berries and spray them with silver spray paint. You'll want to make sure to do this in a well ventilated area and then once they're dry you can place your berries over just one side in each vase in your arrangement. Then you'll place your pink flowers and for this arrangement I'm going to use peonies but you can also use roses and hydrangeas come in a beautiful pink color as well. And then you can place your mercury glass candles and when you've got them all done it's going to look something like this. Again, my name is Jenna Lee with Splurge Events, and today I've just shown you how to make a wedding centerpiece using pink and silver.
