Hi, my name is Jenna Lee with Splurge Events, and today I'm going to show you how to make centerpieces using wine bottles. So, the supplies you'll need for this project are several wine bottles. I use all clear for this project, different sizes in candles and these are actually emergency candles from the grocery store. So, you can find these there. Different sizes of taper candles, long tapers and short tapers and you'll notice that I've kept with the same color scheme in all of my candles. And then a knife. So, what you'll do first is take your wine bottle, your empty bottle and remove the labels and you can just run these under hot water and the labels will come off very easily. So, you get all of your labels off to where it's just a clean bottle. Then you take your candles and you'll have different sizes in tapes candles and you're going to have to shave some of the bottom part of the taper candle off so that it'll fit inside. So you just take your knife and just very gently shave off part of the wax and you'll be turning your candle as you go so that you can shave off an equal amount on all sides and your candle won't lean. So you just place the candle on top of the wine bottle. You want it to be really snug. There you have it. The wine bottles look beautiful mix with the candles just as they are. But for an addition, you can also add rose petals to your centerpiece and bring in any of your colors for your wedding. My name is Jenna Lee with Splurge Events and we've just shown you how to make centerpieces using wine bottles.
