Hi, my name is Cherie Donohue, and I'm going to share with you an easy to do winter craft that you can make with your family. So today, I'm going to show you how you can make your own frosted glass tea lights. They're really beautiful, it makes it look like there's some icy snow on the outside of these special tea lights. You need to gather together some glass tea light holders. I just had some around the house, I had a long strip that I might use to decorate, and then I had some individual tea light holders, glass tea light holders. But you could use anything, you could even use baby food jars if you have those at home, or any type of small glass jar. A little jam jar would work too. What you're going to need for this project is Epsom salt and white wine, a paintbrush and a small bowl. What you're going to do is you're going to take your Epsom salt, pour it into the small bowl, and then add a little bit of white wine until it makes a nice, slushy mixture. You're going to stir that around with a fork or a spoon. Don't add too much white wine, you really don't want it too liquidy, it needs to be a little bit thicker and a little but slushy to work. Then what you're going to do is take your paintbrush, and dip it into that slushy mixture and just use it to sort of put on the side of your tea lights. You're going to just spread it around all over that tea light. Once it's covered, you're going to let that dry. And then your tea light will make a beautiful glowing kind of snow look with the candle inside of it. And another alternative, something else you could do with this is take a small paintbrush and paint it around the corners of your windows in your home and it gives it a nice frosted kind of look like there's been some snow outside. But don't worry, it's really easy to clean up, just use some warm, soapy water and it will wash right off. You could do the same thing on your tea light holders when you're done with winter and you want that off just take some warm, soapy water and it will come right off.
