Hello, this is Jeanette Conner. A visual artist of eight-plus years, and today I'm going to teach you how to make crafts with envelopes. So for this project we're going to need an envelope, the larger the size, the better. And then things to decorate your envelope with. I have this frame die cut and these stickers. And glue. And you know, if you want to get fancy with it, you can use some glitter or markers or anything else. But the envelope is the important part. So first we're going to seal the envelope up. And we're going to cut one side of the envelope off. If you have those fun scissors that make different shapes, those are always great to use for this. Then we're going to fold a side of the envelope in almost to the middle but not quite. Make a good crease. And then fold it back out. And then fold the other side. The same size. And then you're going to fold your bottom in too. Like that. Then you're going to open it up and stick your hand inside. And this is the tricky part. You have to make the bottom square. So just going to press down on that crease. OK. So obviously the more accurate your fold lines are from the very beginning, the more square your bag will be. If you need to you can set it up against the table and just flatten the base out. And then I'm just going to glue my decorations on. My little stocking stuffer guy. And I think I will put Happy Holidays up here at the top. And if you wanted to, you can hole punch and put some ribbon with a tag on it. And put whatever goodies you want inside like cookies or candy and stuff it with tissue paper. And there you have your own little holiday gift bag made from an envelope. This was Jeanette Conner, and today we learned how to make crafts with envelopes.
