Hey there. I'm Mark Newman-Kuzel. I'm president and CEO of Maid in the U.S.A., and recent winner of Atwater Village's bake off with my red velvet cupcakes. Today, I'm going to teach you how to clean a baking pan. The materials you're going to need for this are, a steel wool, some dish soap, soft yellow sponge with a scruffy reverse. What you want to do is just kind of run that water hot. I always recommend having rubber gloves to wear so you don't scour your hands or get any grease on your freshly manicured hands, thank you Geisha Nails. Just kind of rub some water on there to get it loose. You want to get that wet, a little secret, Maid in the U.S.A. secret, put some dish soap on the scouring pad. Get that down in the sink, so any debris goes in there. Just kind of lightly go back and forth. Never swirl side to side because you don't want to see any steel wool marks and a bunch of swirls. You want to see some nice Zen like even strokes. Take your sponge, soft side down, going to rinse that off, both sides carefully so you don't get your beautiful counters all splashed. Mark Newman-Kuzel here with Maid in the U.S.A., and that's how you clean a baking pan.
