Hi, I'm Caitlin from My Gal Friday, and today we are going to clean burned roasting pans. Take scrubby sponge, sink full of soapy water, baking soda. So, this one's not too bad; but, you can see the surface has gotten some grease really burnt onto it. So, the first thing that you want to do is you want to take your pan and you want to soak it in warm soapy water. You want to get the whole thing nice and wet and just leave it in the soapy water for as long as you can really. You can leave it in for up to an hour or two, I mean, there's no time limit. You could do it overnight and that would make the scrubbing much easier. And so, what you want to do after you've let it sit for a few hours is you come back with a nice sponge with a nice scrubber on it or you could even use steel wool, works very well and you just come back and you scrub in all over the roasting pan. If you have really stubborn grease which you shouldn't after leaving it in for a couple of hours; but, if you do, you can take them out and sprinkle baking soda and that acts as a nice scrubber and really absorbs all of the burnt grease and food product that has fallen down onto your grill. And when you're finish scrubbing it, you've gotten the surface nice and clean, you just want to rinse it off and you follow the same process for the rest of the grill.
