Hi, I'm Joy Kubas, and I'm a home interior and educator. And, I'm here today to give you a few basic tips on how to measure for sheets. In this segment you would have to have, a tape measure, and your bed. In measuring for your bed you would want to take the length times your bed, times the width, times the depth, how fat your mattress is. So, first of all, we'll take our length. We'll go from the deepest part. We'll go down from here, from the foot of the bed, all the way to the top of the headboard. And we have 84 inches in our length. Then we would take our width. In our width, we would go from the furthest part, and come straight across, and we'd have 72 inches. So, we have 84 by 72. Now, we need to get the thickness, the depth of your bed. So, the depth of your mattress, you want to take from your deepest part, from the corner of your mattress and measure, measure all the way up, and we have eight inches. That's a pretty big pocket. So, when you get your measurements, you will want to take your measurements and compare them to the label that is on the manufactured product. So, ours was 72 by 84 by eight. The pockets, a lot of times, are smaller. So, you could also make sure that when you're measuring for your pockets, that your pocket is deep. So, it fits nice and snug in the corner of the mattress. This how you measure for your bed for bed sheets.
