Hello, I'm Linda DiSimone, Seamstress and Designer, and today we're going to talk about how to replace the sewing machine needle on your sewing machine. The things you will need are all your sewing machine and the new sewing machine needle. Step one, number one is to take off the presser foot from your machine so you have better access to your needle. There's a screw up here on the top that needs to be loosen, just turn it towards you or drop and take out your old needle and then you have your new needle. And look at the needle, there's a flat part and a round part. The flat part goes towards the back. Step two is to take your new needle and remember I said, with the flat side facing away from you. Put it back up into the hole that's here and with the screw just now turn it away from you which will tighten it and you've replaced your sewing machine needle. My name is Linda DiSimone, and thanks for watching this video.
