Hello, I'm Sue Walker and I'm going to show you a red velvet cake frosting recipe. You will need a mixer and a mixing bowl, a spatula, measuring cups, measuring spoons and a knife for frosting. The ingredients are one and one-half cups of soft butter, twelve ounces of softened cream cheese, one and one-half teaspoon of vanilla extract and eight to nine cups of powdered sugar. On medium speed, beat the butter and cream cheese until smooth. Then beat in the vanilla. Gradually, start adding the powdered sugar, making sure to mix at a low speed. Make sure to add enough powdered sugar to make the frosting stiff, but still creamy. Make sure the cake is completely cool before frosting. And, that is a red velvet cake frosting recipe.
