Hi welcome back we are going to be continuing our crock pot series today with candy nuts. What you are going to do you are going to start off by preheating your crock pot for about 15 minutes on high and once you crock pot is good and hot you come over here and you have 2 or 3 different kind of nuts we have gone today with walnuts and sliced almonds about 16 ounces each. We are going to go ahead and throw our walnuts in and throw the almonds right on top of it. Then you are going to take about 1/2 cup of butter pour directly on the nuts, then you stir them up really good. Make sure that they are coated nice with that butter, then you are going to throw about 1/2 cup of brown sugar on top of them. Make sure you coat them evenly and you can go ahead and stir it a little bit more just lightly make sure that brown sugar gets on there really nice. You are going to go ahead and throw your cover on there, leaving to cook for about 15 minutes on high and then come back and you are going to uncover and let them cook on low for about 2-3 hours and then you have your candy nuts ready to serve.
