Hi, I'm Sue Walker and I'm going to show you a recipe for potato ham soup. The ingredients are: one half cup of butter; one cup of diced celery; one half cup of chopped onion; six cups of cubed potatoes; one half cup of flour; three cups of diced ham; three cups of chicken broth and four cups of cream. The first thing you do is take your butter, your diced celery and your chopped onion. Place it in a pan and saute until the vegetables are tender. Add your cubed potatoes to the vegetables. Then you want to take half a cup of flour and pour it into your potatoes and mix it altogether; then add your bacon bits and your three cups of chicken broth. Bring this to a boil and once it's boiling, then turn it down to simmer and simmer until the potatoes are tender. Once your potatoes are tender, then add your cream. Now you can add your ham. Stir it in and heat through, and you're ready to eat your soup. And that is a recipe for potato ham soup.
