Hello, my name is Crystal Nassar with Tuscany Florist in Ranch Mirage and I'm going to tell you what typical flowers you would use for fall arrangements. Although most flowers are available year around, you do want to stick with the certain colors for the season and when you're thinking of fall colors, you think mostly in an, a deep colors and oranges and yellow. So you're not thinking whites or pastels or pinks really for fall. So you want to stick with like a terracotta or rust color or even a bright orange rose; you can use sunflower; sunflowers are a very typical fall flower. Cosmos come in at chocolate colors which is a very deep brown that's definitely brownish; that's definitely for fall colors and then you can add solidago that's a yellow filler flower that adds a nice accent. You can also use greens. Green for fall mix with all of those colors is a wonderful accent. So there's endless greens; there's now even green roses. There's green hydrangea and don't forget you want to maybe incorporate a food or berries into fall, fall colors; fall flowers. But a lot of berries are available year round and we do have hypericum berries; they are called coffee bean, coffee bean berries. They're in a, a red; they come in a beautiful green. So that's a very nice accent for your fall arrangements. And for your centerpieces, you can always add what we would typically add for, I say, a thanksgiving arrangement which would be; you know, your, your wheat grass or, you know, some kind of a brown accent to that and you can use more of a natural brown tone accents when it comes to your ribbon or, you know, you can use pots to accent your flowers and use brown containers. Just stick to those deep fall colors and you'll get the look you want. Use a lot of greenery, a lot of leaves and even, eucalyptus, it has the seeded eucalyptus; that's a wonderful filler to accent all of those deep rich colors. I'm Crystal Nassar with Tuscany Florist in Rancho Mirage, California and I hope you like my ideas for fall flowers.
