Hello, my name is Crystal Nassar from Tuscany Florist in Rancho Mirage, California and I am going to give you ideas on how to order flowers. You have your list, you're ready to go, you're ready to buy flowers. How close are you to the nearest floral mart? Are you near, you know, a local mart where you know you can just walk in, it's open to the public, and you can buy what you want. That's wonderful, so if you can I suggest you do that. And if you can't, if you're too far you call around or stop in some of your local florists and ask some questions. Are they willing to buy flowers for you and sell, and sell them to you from their wholesaler? So you can get exactly what you want. Most florist will. So your florist can help you, you know, go down the list, of what, what you think you need and they'll just, most of the time, just make a very small profit or even just have you pay for their shipping costs if you're doing all of your own flowers. It 's a good way to get to know your local florists and who's willing to help you. So you have your, you've made your order with your local florist and they've helped you with, you know, you want to know if your pricing, if they're pricing your flowers too high, if they're charging you for what they would normally charge you per flower to make an arrangement then they are pricing too high. You want to kind of buy them in a, in a wholesale mindset because they're really just taking the flowers and selling them to you, they're not cleaning them, conditioning them, and putting them in arrangements, so it shouldn't cost the same that a normal flower would per stem. So if you don't want to go through the hassle of figuring out what flowers you need for all of your arrangements, conditioning, cleaning, making all of the arrangements and then having them ready for your wedding, the typical thing to do is to hire florist. And get, do your homework, have all of your questions ready. Call your, call around, call your florists and find out if you can schedule a consultation with them. Find out if there's a fee first, what they would like you to bring, and go from there. And you can shop around, you know, shop around your florists and find out who is giving you the most reasonable price, who you get along with, what personalties you get along with, because you're going to be working with them, sometimes for over a year. A good way to get the arrangement that you want, that you have in mind, is to tell the florist your ballpark, your, you know, give them a limit as to what you want to spend and tell them what flowers you don't want in the arrangement. And then, if you do want a, a specific type of flower, ask them if that's within your budget, and that, and that way you'll get, you know the look, that, that you want. You can stick to different colors, or you can stick to a specific flower. You can give then the designer choice and, but you know, you should know that, that florist does the kind of work that you want them to do. I'm Crystal Nassar with Tuscany Florist in Rancho Mirage, California and I hope you liked my ideas on how to order flowers.
