How to Make a Crochet Picot Stitch

"Hi, I'm Natanya Nielsen from Saratoga Springs Utah, talking about crochet basics. Today we're going to learn the picot stitch. The picot stitch uses are single crochet stitch as well as the slip stitch that we've already learned. To start our picot, first we will go through our space here, and do a single crochet. From our single crochet we will chain three, then we will take our hook come back into our first chain and do a slip stitch, where we just pull our yarn through both stitches, this will make your picot. Let's do it again. We'll do a single crochet, from the top of that we will do three chains, then we will come down to our first chain and do a slip stitch. And that is our picot stitch."
