"Hello, my name's Oscar Moreno with Moreno Custom Home Visions, and today we're going to teach you guys how to properly and safely use a miter saw. Now, first thing you want to get started is, first things first, is make sure you have your safety glasses on. When you're going to get started on cutting your lumber. Now then, what you have here is your fence guide here. That's going to insure you that you have a nice, straight cut that goes along with the guides and degrees and measurements that are located on the base of your miter saw. Once you have your piece of lumber firmly pressed against the fence line, go ahead and put on your safety glasses. Always make sure that you double check on the measurement that you're cutting. You know, it's a good thing that...they say is that, measure twice, cut once. You know, just keep that in mind. So, what you're going to do, again, keep your hands away from the surface, where ever you're going to be cutting. Go ahead and release the trigger switch on the saw. Before you press the trigger, go ahead and bring your table...your chop saw down to where you can line yourself up to your line that you're going to be using there. Once you determine that that's going to be your cut, go ahead and bring it back up, release the safety. Turn it on, and it's just as simple as that. Make a nice, clean cut. Now, if you guys wanna....if you guys are doing picture frames, or any kind of trim work, you can adjust your degrees to doing a perfect ninety. You will put it at a forty five degree setting, and again line up your chop saw. And again, make sure you got your exact alignment. And there you are. There's a nice forty five....to get started on any, any project. So, that is how you safely and properly use a miter saw."
