"So it's just about time for New Year's, and you're thinking how am I going to celebrate New Year's at home 'cause I'm not going out to all the parties and all the craziness? Well my name is Lori Randall with Simply Divine Events, and I'm going to tell you how to celebrate New Year's at home. The first thing that you're going to want to do is get some party hats, you know here you're going to want to make it fun and festive since you're not going out, get some party hats, get some noise makers. Make sure that you of course have champagne on hand, because you're going to want to toast once it strikes midnight. Also get some other like top hats, anything like that. If it's just your family, you're still going to want to have a festive atmosphere. You're going to want to think about starting to celebrate a little bit later in the evening, once like the Dick Clark special and those things come on TV. Have that in the background, they usually have some cool performances and singers on there as well. And you want to make sure that you have that up and ready when the ball is about ready to drop so you do the countdown so you feel like you're really in the spirit with everyone. You can go outside once it hits midnight and get - do your clackers and yell happy New Year and make sure again that you have your champagne on hand too so you can toast for that. Also you might even want to get some sparklers or maybe even some fireworks and you know do those on the front yard, shoot those off your house just to feel like you're really being festive and having a good time. So those are some ideas on how that you could celebrate New Year's at your home."
