"All origami begins from simple traditional bases and today I'm going to teach you one of the most complex bases. My name is Robert Segundo and today I'm going to be showing you how to do the frog base. What we're going to do here is we're going to take our square piece of paper that we have here. And basically what we're going to do is we're not really going to start from this point, we're going to start from another base because most complex bases come from another base, we're going to start with a fruit base. So to fold the fruit base all you really do is that and there you have it. So, actually I'm just kidding, all you got to do is look up one of my other videos and you'll see me fold the fruit base. So what we're going to do from here is we're going to take this side here with our triangle, and we're going to fold it up like so. And then fold this side up like so as well, as you can probably hear my paper just ripped on me, but oh well. Now we're going to do is we're going to just open this up, and this is called petal folding or leaf folding, I can't remember which one right at the moment, it's one of those. And basically you're going to fold this triangle shape like so, and then you just take your point after you've done it and fold it down. And basically all you're going to do is just you're going to recreate that all on all four sides to create your frog base, so, and that's pretty much it. Just do this side too. And you're just going to do this on the other two sides that are left over and that'll be it. That will be your traditional frog base, so play around with it, have fun, and enjoy."
