"Hi this is Ann Myrick and today I'm going to show you how to remove stains from your coffee pot. Two different types of stains you could have coffee stains inside the pot, but along with burned stains on the bottom. So what I am going to do is work with the inside first. I'm going to pour just normal table salt, you can use table salt or you could use Kosher salt. And then a wet sponge but don't put a lot of water in it and then the granules of the salt will get in there and act kind of like a sandpaper. And really scrub up all those stains. I'm going to rinse my sponge off and then I'm going to do the same thing, a little bit of salt and rub it really well and then get the bottom where the burns are. And then really rinse it well because you don't want to, you don't want your first cup of coffee in the morning to taste salty. So you want to just with hot water rinse it really well. And there you go. This is AnnMyrick and that is how you clean stains off a coffee pot."
