"Hi, I'm James with JNC Home Repair, today I'm going to show you how to select a paint stripper. First of all, I've got a couple of products here, this is a spray on stripper. This is made by Bix, this is a real good, this is a real good product for removing paint, varnish, stain, if it's something this is really heavy duty stuff here. If you've got something like a bunch, if you've got a door or some trim, or maybe a piece of wood that's got a bunch of coats of paint on it and you want to, maybe consider re-staining it or maybe even repainting it. This is probably something you'll want to use, it's something easy to apply, because you can just spray it on, you don't need a bunch of applicators, or rags, or different type stuff. And, what I've got here is this, it's a liquid sander deglosser. This is basically another type of stripper. This product mainly used for maybe if you have some stained cabinets or stain trim inside your house and you just want to repaint it. You, maybe, want to use this stuff right here, because all this is going to do is it's just going to knock off the clear coat for you so you can have, so the paint will actually stick to the trim a lot better. If you're actually going to re-stain, you can actually use this stuff too. This will take it down, it will take the clear coat off, it'll take some of the stain off but you'll have to back it up with some sanding. Unless you're going with a darker color, then you could just probably apply the stain right on top of it and it would take it."
