One of the most unpleasant chores in housecleaning is cleaning the bathroom. With so much daily use, bathrooms become hot spots for bacteria, germs and grime. Every aspect of the room needs wiping down and disinfecting, including the cabinets, cupboards, hardware, mirrors, windows and light fixtures. However, the job can seem less daunting with a weekly sprucing combined with sporadic deep spring cleanings. In this free housecleaning video series, an experienced housekeeper demonstrates how to give the bathroom a deep detailed cleaning that might be necessary every month or so. Learn about all of the supplies necessary for bathroom cleaning, like gloves, rags and different cleaners and disinfectants. Get tips to clean more efficiently, like starting from top to bottom and using a few small batches of fresh soapy water. "Well today I'm going to be showing you how to take care of your bathroom. I'm not going into the details of the toilet or the shower or tub that I have already presented but this presentation is to show you how to take care of all the other things in your bathroom. You'll be surprised how many things that there are but this is a thorough look into cleaning a bathroom. So if you are looking for a quick fix this isn't it, this is a thorough cleaning. So you definitely want to have gloves. You never want to start cleaning in harsh chemicals without protecting your skin. Chemicals can really dry your skin out badly. It can break you out in all kinds of rashes or if you have eczema that is going to irritate it. You want to protect your hands so get something that is durable. These will last you for 30 or 40 different washes. It protects your arms as well so I would recommend you get some gloves to work with these chemicals."
