"Hi, I'm Ginger Walker, owner of Clean Junkies, and we're going to talk about storing clothes. Say you've got a winter wardrobe, and a summer wardrobe, and you want to store your winter or summer clothes. After you fold them nicely, and you've laundered them, you want to make sure you give them a good clean, and a good dry before you put them away. Make sure never to put them away damp, otherwise, you're going to get some mildew and lots of problems there. One way that you can do that is some decorative baskets. If you've got a closet with some shelves or something, you can put those up there. Just make sure you've got your clothes nicely folded, put them in there. One thing that I like to do as well is add a fabric softener sheet when I'm storing clothes. That just keeps them fresh smelling. If you've got mothballs, you can add a couple of those as well, cause' you don't want moths getting in there, you know, making problems with your clothes. Another way of storing clothes; say you're going to store blankets for a long period of time, something like that; we have, you know, the bags that you can seal up and vacuum out the air. Those are great for storage for long term. Also, you've got Rubbermaid type containers that you can put your clothing in. Put a few mothballs in there. That way, you're not going to get any insects in there, you're not going to get moths in there, that type of thing. Seal those up good, and store them in a storage shed or something like that. Okay, once you've got all your clothes put together in the basket, if you've got these decorative baskets without the seals, you're going to want to make sure that you store those in a closet that just has shelves; something like that, or under a bed, if you've got a bed tall enough. If they're decorative baskets, you can really put them anywhere, cause' they're kind of a decor item as well."
