"This is the part of the process where we start to put the tissue paper down. Overlapping, layering the tissue paper. The more we overlap and layer, the more we see the combination of colors happening. For instance, if we were to take a yellow piece of tissue paper and overlap it with the red, we would start to get an orange effect when we look at it in the sun. So all these things are great things to show the kids. Now, however, if we have these scrap papers, and I actually like the effect of the scrap papers a little bit more than I do these flat ready to go, out of the package, tissue papers. These have, their crumbled a little bit more, and I like that they're torn. It gives us a nice effect. So what we are going to do is we're going to start overlapping, laying it down. And on these areas where we are going to overlap some of our tissue paper, we want to make sure that we have a little bit of glue, just so that it will stick on top. And that's where we use the glue stick because it's a little thinner. And we're just going to put it down. At this point, if it's running of the side of the butterfly, that's okay. We're going to trim it down when we're done. So we want to take all the different colors, and these wrinkles in the paper only add to the texture and make it more beautiful. If we want to go back and we want to use some of these out of the package ones, they work too. But we want to remember to layer, using the glue stick, just so that we don't have many of those pieces coming up and falling off. This is a messy part of the project but however it comes out, it will be beautiful"
