"Okay, so we finished cutting out our butterfly. And what we are going to do is use that side with the drawing on it. So if you have some pencil left over, that's okay. We're going to fill this side of the butterfly. We're going to open it up all the way, lay it flat. That crease will eventually come out. For attaching the tissue paper, we need to prep the surface with either a glue stick or we can also do it with a liquid glue. The Elmer's Glue works great because it's going to stay wet for a longer period of time. So if we want to just put this on, we're going to put it on in a thin layer all the way around. This is going to help us through the process. When we are gluing later, we are going to use the glue stick on the tissue paper because it's less thick. And when we do that, we won't see the effects of glue and weighing down the lightness of the tissue paper. So we are going to put this all the way around, all the way around the outline of our butterfly and hope that is stays wet while we put the tissue paper down. This is the part that a kid could do easily. And at this point, you just want to make sure that the table is prepped and you have a clean space. Preferably one of these plastic table cloths and you should be good to go."
