"Today, we're making these sun catchers that are in the shape of butterflies. They're a lot of fun to do, a couple steps to the process. So, it's important that we have an adult supervision, an adult handy to help with the more difficult parts. These are best hung in a window, so that the sun can shine from behind and light up your house. A couple steps in the process, things that we need to know about. We have a few choking hazards that aren't appropriate for younger children. I like to design this project for ages three and up. Three definitely, three to five with an adult supervision, an adult there, throughout the process. However, five and up, they can do this on their own. If you cut the template for them, they're able to do the rest probably, independently, maybe a little help in the stapling. But for the most part, they can do it on their own. These look great if you have a bunch of them in the window, sun shining through, lots of color, lots of light. And they last for about an entire season, so it's perfect for spring time, get them up in the windows, fill your house, beautiful project."
