Hi, I'm Rachel Yatuzis and I'm going to show you how to clean vinyl tile. If you're just going to mop the floor, any floor surface is best cleaned with vinegar and water. Always have a spray bottle of vinegar and water around your house and if you just wet your mop, spray the floor, that's what you're going to really mop all your floors with. If you have some stains on vinyl tile, you can make this paste out of baking soda and vinegar. You can let this sit on the stain for quite a while and it'll cook the stain out. You can scrub it with a scrub brush and this paste that you've made, it's an excellent, excellent stain remover. Or, if you have white vinyl tile, you can use bleach. Just make sure that you are in a well ventilated area and you can just get a white rag, get some bleach on it and set it on top of the stain, that'll bleach the stain out. If you're afraid your kids or people are going to be inhaling it, you want to cover it with plastic wrap and make it air tight by putting tapes, tape around the sides that way the fumes don't come out and the bleach doesn't evaporate. Let it sit like that overnight and when you wake up, the stain will be gone. I'm Rachel Yatuzis and that is how you clean vinyl tile.
