Hi I'm Rachel Yatuzis and I'm going to show you how to wash mini blinds. Mini blinds get pretty dirty and they have little tools you can buy I know that you can just run across to dust them but that really doesn't get them completely clean. I would say when you are doing your Spring cleaning do this to your mini blinds and your vinyl or plastic shower curtains. You can do it at the same time. Get a bathtub ready before you clean the bathtub because the bathtub is going to get dirty. When you fill the bathtub up, add either an all purpose cleaner to it or dish soap or just vinegar. They all work really well. Vinegar doesn't have a small or it does but the smell doesn't stick around. This smells a little bit better, this smells even better. I mean it is going to be on your blinds and it is going to help smell the room up so you want it to smell good. Just fill your tub up, get it nice and bubbly, take your blinds down and set them down in the soapy water. You don't want to scrub them or anything like that. It is really not necessary. If you can just move them around a bit and make sure the water is flowing through them and let them soak in there for at least an hour and then you drain the water out you should be able to rinse them off really well with either a shower head or by putting clean water in there with them and then hang them back up, well you want to let them dry first, of course, and then hang them back up.
