Hi I'm Rachel Yatuzis, and I'm going to tell you how to clean hard water stains in plastic bathtubs. The best thing in cleaning any bathtub, including plastic ones, is to stay on top of it. If you do it once a week you really only have to go over it, just a good wipe and it'll be clean, really only thing that will build up will be the dust, so it's really easy to clean that way. If you do end up with hard water stains, you can use an expensive bathtub cleaner, you can use something a little bit abrasive, but really the main thing it's going to take to remove anything from your bath tub including hard water stains is elbow grease, and lots of it. So just spray your favorite all purpose cleaner onto your bathtub, and scrub it. That is the best way to clean anything, plastic bathtubs, really any material bathtub. You'll be able to see, if you get at a certain angle, you can see the hard water, if you get the light just right you can see the hard water streaks down the side of the bathtub, and that's when you want to scrub. Go left to right or circular motion, don't scrub up and down, because that's just going to make more streaks that you'll be able to see at certain angles. And you may not notice it, but you may have a friend who comes over who's picky about their bathroom and they want to see how clean you are. And that's how you do it. I'm Rachel Yatuzis, and that is how you clean hard water stains from a plastic bathtub.
