How to Design a Wedding Program
Designing a wedding program can be done by folding high-quality paper in half, including the general ceremony information on the front and listing the ceremony itinerary on the inside. Include a list of the bridal party and immediate family members in a wedding program with creative ideas from an event coordinator in this free video on weddings.

Hi I'm Becky Sosa with stressfreeevents.net and I would like to talk to you about how to design your wedding program. The program is something that you are going to want to have sitting at the ceremony site either in a basket in the back or on each individual's chair. You want it to reflect the style of your wedding and it should be in the colors of your wedding and have the feel of the wedding going along with it. As far as designing it there are templates that you can find on the websites, you may want to check with local wedding boards that you have talked on and see if anybody has a template that you can use. If not Microsoft has a template. It takes a little searching on your computer but it is there. One of the templates that we found is just a basic single fold wedding program. I have used two pieces of paper to incorporate the two different colors in the wedding and these would just be glued together or tied together with ribbon. On the front page you are going to want to have the general information about the wedding. On the inside you are going to want to include the ceremony, the processional, all of the information, the names of any soloists as well as the names of the wedding party. On the back cover is an opportunity for you to list anybody that you want to remember from your ceremony that may have passed on already and a place to say thank you to your guests. This is a very simple program. It is easy to print out on your computer and save you some money. Another option that you have with a wedding program is a multi page program. This one is using card stock on the front and you are going to want to have this printed or run off at a professional printer. It is hole punched in the middle with a ribbon tying it through. This has all of the same information on it with all of the details with using a lighter weight paper in the middle. It has just a little bit of a different feel to it. So once you decide what the feel for your program is you can go from there and this is how you design your wedding program.
