"Hi I'm Becky Sosa with stressfreeevents.net and I would like to talk to you about creating your own wedding invitations. If you haven't noticed already wedding invitations when you buy them in the store can be quite expensive and this may not be in your budget but there are definitely ways to cut down the cost and still have something nice. One of the ways to do it is using cards that are pre made that you can pick up at any craft stores or party stores. Pick them in a color that is appropriate for your wedding and using stamps you can embellish these. If your theme is flowers or a garden party you might want to do something with a rose. Just make sure you get enough ink but not too much on your stamp, decide the proper place in advance on your card, press it and hold it firmly for just a moment and when you let it up you'll have your stamp. Make sure you play with it on an extra piece of paper for a little while so that you will know exactly how your ink is going to effect each of the colors that you are using. Once you get this done you are going to want to figure out how you are going to do your wording. You might use another stamp to do the wording or you might want to print something out on the computer. I have a stamp that says you are invited so it would be for a simple nontraditional wedding, just ink it again and put it exactly where you need it on your invitation. At this point the front of your invitation could be done. If you wanted to embellish it any more you could use an embossing powder and just sprinkle it over the top, let it sit a minute and it will give it a little bit of a raised look. On the inside you can print out on your computer on tracing paper or vellum paper which is see through the wording that you want for your invitation, you can glue it in using spray adhesive or a glue stick works just as well, don't use too much glue or it is going buckle and then use another stamp, maybe a smaller rose to embellish it as well. In that case you will end up with a finished product that you can slide right into an envelope and send out and everyone will know exactly where you are going. This is how you can make your own wedding invitations."
