"Hi, I'm Marti with expertvillage.com today I'm going to show you how to iron a tablecloth. Just remember if you are ironing around young children or pets, use certain precautions. One precaution I like to use is my silicon pad. I got this at a craft store or a home store. It's made out of silicon so you can actually set your iron down flat and you don't have to worry about it getting it knocked over. Tablecloth comes in all sorts of fabric materials the most common these days would be cotton and polyester or poly blends. If you're ironing a cotton tablecloth you want to place it on a high heat typically with steam in particularly if it's really wrinkled. When you are using a poly blend it depends on how much cotton verses polyester is in your mix. You always want to heat the setting towards the lowest tolerance which in that case would be polyester. That would probably be a medium heat."
