"Hi this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village in this video clip we will making cleats. Cleats are small pieces of wood that we nail on to our cabinetry that will be on the inside where no one can see it. This will aide when we put our top on will be able to nail our top down. The cleats that I will making our 3/4" x 3/4", now if we take a look at our plywood sheets that we cut out pieces out, we have some scrap left that we will be using these cleats out of. Since my plywood is already 3/4" thick all I need to do is set my table saw to 3/4 and I will have a piece that is 3/4 x 3/4. I didn't make an exact number of cleats I just used up my board and made a whole bunch of them."
