"Hi, my name is Marti. I'm coming to you on behalf of expertvillage.com. Today I'm going to show you how to iron a skirt. The high temperature is really really important along with the steam. It helps relax that linen that has been crinkled up. We are going to continue to work our way around the skirt. I have a second box pleat over here, I'm going to work with the seams and press this all the way down. Providing a little tension as I got so I can get a good structure on my grain, then I'm going to put my pleat where I want it. This is where you really use your fingers as tools you can take little baby steps until you are comfortable with it. Once you get it going, you can kind of pull some tension to help keep it straight.
