"Hi, my name is Marti. On behalf of expertvillage.com, I'm going to show you how to iron a pair of cotton pants today with pleats. Turn your pants inside out a lot of times, we don't take care of this step here and we just start ironing. When you are talking about a pair of pants that has pockets and zippers and perhaps linings and things, this all needs to be attention to detail. So we are going to go through make sure everything is properly passed in terms of our construction. Then we'll turn the pants back right side out. When you are using fabric starch, a lot of times it will leave a residue or a powdery look or it may have the fabric look shiny. One way to help limit that is to starch the inside of your pants and not the outside. To get going we are going to press our waist band first."
