"On behalf of Expert Village this is Paul Anderson from Hollywood, Florida in the ABC circus. Today I'm going to show you about clown makeup. Now a lot of clowns paint faces that is right. They would paint little faces on the kids as they go. That is not what this is about. This is about how to paint your face as a clown. Now you can paint the little kids faces as clowns and practice. But that might take a little bit of time in fact it might be too long. Imagine 5 kids waiting in line and the first kid takes 20 minutes or more. Well those 4 kids waiting in line would get very anxious. Kids don't like to wait very long so face painting is quick, short, simple, and turn them out in 3 to 5 minutes. Something like that. This when you paint your face to be a clown is going to take some time. Now I have got my down to 10-15 minutes but I had a lot of practice. Early on it could take as long as 1 hour."
