on 9/14/2009 This whole series needs very close-up shots on the jewelry and on the techniques demonstrated. As is, you can barely see what's being pointed out. The shots need to get completely away from the person presenting and zoom in on the beads, wire, and hands. In case that's still not enough, please specify measurements of wire, names of tools right from the beginning of the procedure, otherwise, the viewer has an impression of not getting it, which leads to frustration. Because the communication of information is casual while the visibility is not good, it gives the impression of being disorganized.

on 9/5/2009 What is the best gauge for wrapping stones in wire to used on necklaces? I've seen stones wrapped in decorative little curls and it looks really cool, but I want to be sure to buy the right gauge wire. They have so many different choices.

I also wanted to say that you should buy a Super Seven crystal if you don't already have one. You can get them on eBay real cheap, and since you know how to wrap the wire you won't have to pay for the overpriced necklace version. Super Seven has 7 different gemstones/crystals all grown together in one, and it's an amazing highly charged crystal with energy you can actually feel! Also emanates an astral light that some people can see like an aura, and you can catch it on camera some times as a fire light shooting from the crystal.

"Hi! Kathleen Wright from Kathleen Wright Jewelry, hennaparties.com. I want to start by showing you the different size wires and how they are bought. What I’m using today is gold filled wire if you want a gold tone and I’m using sterling silver wire for a silver tone, this is the wires that I use with my jewelry because I’m using all real stones and pretty good beads. To start off you can buy cut pieces of wire, this is a 22 gage a little bit thinner, you want to stay with a higher gage if you’re doing small beads like pearls and stuff. For these beads that I’m going to be doing right now I’m using a 20 gage so it’s not as thick, it’s thinner but it’s thicker when the gages is lower, that was another thing that I forgot to mention. So what I’m going to show you today is just using a cut piece, I’ve already cut these with my pliers, this particular one I’m going to show you 3 pliers, this particular one has a cutter in it, would be the first one.
