"These are the materials that we'll be needing for a Little Red Riding Hood felt finger puppet. You'll need some red felt; you'll need some orange felt. You'll need a little bit of brown or beige felt to make a basket. You'll need just a bit of yarn, some googly eyes and a permanent marker for drawing faces and details, and some good thick craft glue. Now we'll start by cutting these shapes. You want to cut a, two pieces of red. And this one is three inches by two inches and you just round off the top. Now this one, you can put on top of the other one, and pretty much cut it the same, but come up and cut it as a point, and that's going to be Little Red Riding Hood's hood. And then if you fold it in half, like this, you can cut the circle out for the face. And the orange one you want to cut the same size as the first domed red one. Now we're going to put a nice bead of glue all the way around the edge. See how it doesn't soak into the felt. You don't want a glue that is going to soak into the felt. You want one that's going to sit on top of the felt. And then place that on top like that. Now it's good to have the orange one a little bit smaller than the red one so the orange won't be sticking out. And then we're going to glue on, you can glue it in the same way, just around the edge. Let me clean, if you get the stringy stuff from the felt on the glue, just wipe that off on a rag and start over again. And you place Little Red Riding Hood's hood ride over her like this. Now at this point, you can draw her a cute little face, and a little bit of glue here to add some googly eyes. So if you draw the face first then you just place the googly eyes underneath the eye marking. I forgot the hair. So for the hair, I just used a little bit of yarn. I'm going to place that just underneath, make sure it gets into the glue. Let me show it to you this way. Just slide it under there, a little bit of glue to hold that in place. And that's sort of sandwiched between the red and the orange. And just sticking out a little bit on the top like that and you can press it down. Let's finish up Little Red Riding Hood. First we'll cut out a little basket like this, and we'll glue that down here. I've cut a small triangle of colored felt and I'm just going to place that on the basket like this so it looks like a little napkin lining the basket. And then cut two little hands, just simple little rounded bits, and we'll put that holding the basket. Just place that right there so it looks like she's holding the basket. And then you can take your permanent market and just draw the little arms and any other details that you want to add to your Little Red Riding Hood. And we just have to wait for her to dry and then we can play with her."
