"These are the materials we'll be needing for our felt horse finger puppet. You'll need some brown or tan felt, some yarn for the mane, some googly eyes, or you can draw the eyes on with some permanent markers. You'll need the permanent markers also to make other markings on our horse, and you'll need a nice thick craft glue. You don't want to use a thinner regular white glue because it soaks into the felt and it's hard to work with. A quick drying thick, nice and thick craft glue is what you want to use. OK. To get started you need to have two rectangles of felt and these are two and a half to three inches long by two inches wide. Now you can make these finger puppets as big as you want, but those are the measurements that I'm using and then we're going to start by just rounding off the top like this. And you can trim it up if you have any rough edges. And then we're going to with our nice thick glue, glue all around the edge. Now this is where you see that using a thick glue is important. See it sits on top of the felt. It doesn't soak in. And you want to put a bead of glue all the way around and then place the second piece of felt on top. Just make sure that it's glued all around. You can wipe off any excess that's sticks out. OK, you want to make sure you don't get glue in the middle because you won't be able to get your finger into the puppet later."
