"JEANETTE WHITE: Hi. I'm Jeanette White for Expert Village and Piper's Quilts & Comforts located in Salt Lake City, Utah in Sugarhouse. Today, we're going to be talking about paper piecing log cabin. Log cabin is one of the oldest and most beautiful quilt patterns that have been around for a long, long, time. This is an example of it in this cute little row quilt which is a class we teach here at the store. And it usually starts with the focal point of a square and then strips that radiate out-around it with a diagonal line and darks on one side and lights on the other. We're going to be doing this today using a paper piecing method which is really fast, really accurate, and really fun. That's how we're going to do log cabin."
