"I now want to include a step that's very important in finishing the images on the plastic sheet that's going to make up our lampshade, and this step is going to be putting an outline around the images from a black marker. Now the reason why this is so important is because being that this is a lampshade, there's going to be a light bulb underneath, and it's going to be throwing light from underneath the images which is going to brighten the images and if they don't have a nice bright line around them, then the images are going to be hard to see. So this is really an important step. A lot of people think that their images look great, and they don't really need to put any outline around them, but you're going to see once the lampshade is completed and the light bulb is inside, when the light is on it's going to be very hard to see the images or at least they will be a lot duller than they look without a light on underneath. So it's very important to take a nice black marker and make some outlines around the images. It doesn't have to be all the images, if you've used some dark colors, it could be that they don't need the outline around them. Wherever you see that you can apply the black marker, you should definitely put it around some of the images. Now I have used some metallic markers, some gold and silver markers, and those, for sure, should have an outline. So you have to really be the judge as to where you want to put the black marker around, which images you want to draw the outline. Now not only should you put the outline around the outer lines of the image, but also inside if there's any details that you made like an eye, or fins, you can also make some black lines around those as well. You should be careful in choosing the size of the black marker that you use for your outline, you don't want it to be too thick, because then it takes up the color of the images, it will be hard to see the colors. But then again, you do want the images to stand out, so just depending on the size of your images, just make sure you pick out the right size black marker to make a nice thick outline but not take away too much of the detail, the color of the images. Now once we finish putting the outline around the images, we see what a difference it really does make. So now I've shown you how to take a black marker and make some outlines on the color images that are on our plastic sheet of our lampshade."
