"So one point this gets to is sort of a fundamental different in how different single action tools are used; single action tools that have a clear design on them. Like there's this kind of dogwood flower, the star, leaves, basket. There's a bunch more you can get. I barely, I mean there's hundred of different tools that are available. Here's a kind of skull and cross bones tool. Also the alphabet letters we looked at before. Tools like this are meant generally to be given in a full impression, where you get the whole design. So there used kind of decoratively to have that whole design there. On the other hand, a lot of single action tools like the vainer that we've talked about or just briefly now, camouflage tool, cider backgrounder. Here's the cider. Here's the backgrounder. I lot of these tools aren't really used for there designs as much as there used for texturing. These aren't really designs that are meant to really be stamped on there own and hold up as there own design elements. But they?re really used for texturing. Which is why some of them can be done full on, straight up and down or you can lean them in different directions. When you use these over large areas of your design, you can really achieve a lot of different textures that really allows for a lot more sophisticated leather working, then if you're just simply stamping little designs that are already made into the tool like some of these single action tools are."
